What FirstTry is
FirstTry is an independent practice tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any state DMV or government agency. Practice questions are written by us from each state's official driver handbook (for the CDL test, from the official CDL manual), and each answer links to the section it comes from. The official handbook or manual and your state's licensing agency are the final word. We do not guarantee that you will pass your test.
Mistakes
We work hard to keep every answer correct. If you think one is wrong, tap "Report a mistake" and we will check it against the handbook.
Pass Pack
The Pass Pack is a one-time payment of $9.99 for unlimited practice tests and the full question bank for one year on the device where you unlock it. It does not renew and there is no subscription. If it does not work for you, email us within 14 days of purchase for a full refund. Pass guarantee: if you fail your state's permit knowledge test after practicing with the Pass Pack, email us within 60 days of purchase and we refund the full $9.99. FirstTry is a product of Amanah; charges appear on your statement as AMANAH* FIRSTTRY.
CDL Pass
The CDL Pass is a one-time payment of $19.99 for unlimited CDL practice tests for one year on the device where you unlock it. It does not renew and there is no subscription. The Pass Pack does not include the CDL test, and the CDL Pass does not include the state permit tests. If it does not work for you, email us within 14 days of purchase for a full refund. Charges appear on your statement as AMANAH* FIRSTTRY CDL.
Driving school passes and school plan
Driving schools can buy 10 student passes for a one-time $49, or the school plan for $49 a month. Each code unlocks what the Pass Pack unlocks, on the first device that uses it, for one year. School plan codes can be used while the plan is paid, and a code a student already used keeps working for its year after the plan ends. The school plan also includes 8 short quiz videos a month with the school's name, sent by email. Cancel the plan anytime by writing to us. If the passes are not right for your school, email us within 14 days of purchase for a full refund. Charges show AMANAH on your statement.

Do not copy the question bank or the site. Do not misuse the service or try to break it.

FirstTry is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us.
